Granular (Contact-Level) De-Identification to Support GDPR Right to Erasure

Enable contact-level or subject-level de-identification (anonymisation) of personal data within a ClickSend account, rather than requiring account-wide de-identification or retention-period changes.
A customer has requested the ability to de-identify a single contact (data subject) in the system in response to a UK GDPR “Right to Erasure” request.
Currently:
- ClickSend only supports account-level de-identification via retention rules.
- Retention changes affect all messages and contacts across the account.
- There is no granular control to anonymise data for one specific subject/contact.
The customer believes (reasonably) that:
Applying account-wide retention is not proportionate.
