It will be great for your company, if you allow to use shorten url in quick sms. In that way potential customers will be satisfied with your platform.

Justin
Can you please add the shorten url feature in quick sms and messenger. Right now it only works in campaigns and that is very inconvenient. It really should be available in all SMS areas.

A setting for inserting/transforming a link into a short-URL in a sms

John
- A checkbox in settings. Convert URL to short-URL. If not checked then as today. If checked then an URL was automatically converted to a short-URL.
OR
- A checkbox and two fields in settings : Field 1 could hold a value like ##start## and field 2 could hold a value like ##end##. Then when the box was checked ( as it is for the stop sign ) the value of the first field was met, the content is “clipped” ( the value between the fields ) to the value of the next next field and the fields+the content between is replaced with a short-url for the value between the fields.
This would be very useful for people that has a calendar ( or other system ) that will produce a very long URL.
Most mobiles can find out if a text is a URL, so your system should also be able to. This could also be used by other that has a system that produces links.
It could also be used if I ( via mail2sms ) send a mail ( example : via Outlook ) in where there was a long link.
There could be created a "campaign" for every day. If a "campaign" for the day is alredy there, then the link is added here - else a "day-campaign" is created and the link is added here. To see the links the user can choose a "campaign".
A calendar sends reminders for events. The calendar can be set up, so that a link to the event is added in the sms.
This message is sent via clicksend :
+454252xxxx: 03.03.2018 @ 14:00 - 17:00: Tidevand - vestjyske akvarelmalere / fernisering http://www.bramminginfo.dk/b7kal/?cal=mycal&xP=32&eid=5&k=105
( of course the xxxx is digits in the message sent)
Clicking the link on the mobile, will result in the image shown. It is a reminder for an event on a museum. In this case the link is not so long, but depending on where the calendar resides, it can be a long URL, and therefore it would be nice to have it shortened. And the calendar-admin can then also see if/when the link has been used.
